Each year, students in Grades 2–8 take Cambridge Progression Tests in English as a Second Language, Science, and Mathematics. These tests are conducted in English.
Students in Grades 4 and 8 also take the National Lithuanian language assessment as part of national education standards
In Grade 10, students are required to take examinations in: Lithuanian language, Mathematics (in Russian),Russian language. These exams are taken to obtain the Lithuanian school leaving certificate.
Cambridge Progression Tests are internal assessment tests used in schools following the Cambridge International Education programmes to check students’ knowledge. They are administered annually at the end of the school year, and results are not sent for external verification. These tests also help prepare students for more formal examinations and provide valuable feedback to parents.

To obtain the Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) in Grade 10, students sit exams in English as a First Language and 4–5 additional subjects of their choice, all in English.

For the Cambridge International AS & A Level Certificate in Grade 12, students take exams in English as a First Language and 4–5 subjects of their choice, also in English.
In Grade 12, students also take the national Lithuanian language exam, where they write an essay — either a classic literary essay based on Lithuanian literature or an analytical essay. In addition to this, they take the Russian language exam and 1–3 elective subjects.

After completing Grade 12, students receive the Lithuanian school leaving certificate and the Cambridge International AS & A Level Certificate, which can be used for entry to higher education institutions.
After completing Grade 10, students receive the Lithuanian school leaving certificate and the Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education, which can be used for entry to colleges.
