A Real School Day
at Stembridge School
Choosing a school is an important and often challenging decision for any family. You can spend a long time comparing programmes and reading reviews. But what matters most is understanding how your child actually feels in the classroom — how they connect with teachers, whether they engage in lessons, and whether they look forward to coming back the next day.
That’s why we invite prospective students to join us for a free trial school day at Stembridge School.

How the Trial Day Works
1
You submit an application
Leave your contact details and let us know which grade you’re interested in. Our administrator will get in touch, answer your questions, and help you choose a suitable day for your child’s trial visit.
2
Your child comes to school
We’ll introduce your child to the teacher and classmates and help them settle into the school day comfortably
and without unnecessary stress.
3
Your child learns alongside
the other students
This is not a programme specially prepared for visitors. Your child joins
the regular school day: taking part
in lessons, completing classwork, talking with teachers and classmates, and spending break times together
with the class.
This gives your child a chance to experience Stembridge School just as it is every day.
4
After the trial day, we can discuss your child’s experience
After the trial day, our teachers can share brief feedback with parents — how your child felt in the classroom, how easily they engaged in lessons, interacted with teachers and classmates, and adapted to the new routines and expectations. This is not an assessment of your child’s academic level based on a single day. It is simply an observation that can help you better understand whether the school environment feels right for your child and what may be important to consider during the adjustment period.
You’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions about the curriculum, your child’s current level, languages, adaptation, and the admissions process — and then take your time deciding whether you’d like to move forward. There is no obligation to enrol after the trial day.
This is a real school day
Stembridge School combines the Lithuanian national curriculum
with Cambridge International Education programmes.
Depending on their age and grade, your child will be able to see
how Mathematics, Science, English, and other subjects are taught,
how students work independently and in groups, ask questions, discuss solutions, and use English naturally in the learning environment.

It is important to us that children feel comfortable learning — but comfort does not mean a lack of challenge or expectations.
Our teachers help students understand
the material, provide feedback, support them when difficulties arise, and offer more advanced tasks to those who are ready
to move ahead faster.

Stembridge School is an accredited Cambridge International School.

If your child’s level differs
from the class level
Children join the school with different educational backgrounds
and levels of language experience.
Some children are already fluent in English, while others
are just beginning to use it in their studies.
Some students progress quickly in Mathematics, while others
may need more time with certain topics.
During the trial day, we do not expect a new student to immediately know everything
the rest of the class already knows.
What matters more to us is seeing how your child engages in the learning process, asks questions, responds to new material, and interacts with the teacher.
This helps us understand what kind of support your child may need after enrolment.
?
