Our Values
What matters most to us and lies at the foundation of our thinking, decisions, and actions:
  • Freedom and Responsibility

Freedom and responsibility are two sides of the same coin. On one hand, we are free to choose how and what to learn; on the other hand, we take responsibility for our results, our level of engagement in school activities and events. One person’s freedom ends where another’s begins — which means that we are free within certain boundaries: the boundaries of responsibility and the culture of Stembridge.
  • Respect

Respect for all participants in the educational process: classmates, students, teachers, support staff, and parents. Respect is shown in tone of voice and manner of address, actions and behaviour, punctuality, completing tasks to the best of one’s ability, helping one another, and maintaining quiet so as not to disturb others’ learning.

  • Safety

Safety at all levels: physical (care for life and health), mental (care for intellectual development), and psychological (care for comfort, a low-stress and anti-bullying environment).

  • Trust and Openness

In teaching and the upbringing process: trust in teachers’ professionalism and in the desires and abilities of students. An open exchange of knowledge beyond the walls of the school.
  • Learning as a Process

While maintaining comfort and trust, and encouraging imagination and development without rigid “institutional” boundaries, we place children’s learning at the very centre. Education and development are the primary purpose of Stembridge — that’s why students come here.
  • Community

It is important to us to be not just a school, but a true family.

На всех уровнях: физическом (забота о жизни и здоровье), ментальном (забота о мозге и интеллектуальном развитии) и психологическом (забота о комфортном состоянии, внестрессовой и антибуллинговой среде).

WHY STEMBRIDGE SCHOOL?
  • Individual Approach
Education at the school is organised around and in the interests of the child. Not only the child’s academic learning is important, but also their personal development, health, and well-being. The teacher’s task is to guide children’s attention to new opportunities, broaden their interests, and help them develop creativity, critical thinking, self-organisation, and independence.
  • Modern Educational Space
Transformable classrooms with technological equipment, a library with the necessary literature for the development of both children and adults, and a recreation area with places for quiet rest.
  • A Combination of Calm and Accessibility
A modern building, our own fenced playground and sports ground, and proximity to a pine forest — our quiet location away from the city bustle encourages focus and deep learning, making our school an ideal place for development and growth.
MAIN FOCUS
Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths.
These four fields are already established in the modern educational paradigm and reflect the philosophy of interdisciplinary learning, student initiative, project-based thinking, and practice orientation in a technological environment. A scientific foundation is an undeniable basis for independent decision-making and critical thinking.
Language as the Foundation of All Knowledgeю A special emphasis is placed on learning English as a means of universal communication. Lithuanian language and culture, and Russian language are studied within the framework of the educational minimum. The school also preserves connections with Belarusian culture and tradition. In addition, financial and media literacy, as well as fundamentals of entrepreneurship, are included as important investments in competence for an unpredictable future.
The Learning and Development Process.
This includes the formation of basic literacy + competencies (4Cs and more) + personal development. Emotional intelligence (EQ), reflective and critical thinking, effective communication and conflict management, the ability to work in a team, self-presentation skills, and networking — all of this prepares students to confidently step into the future, whatever it may be.
